Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is issued by Vidyasage Labs ("Vidyasage Labs", "we", "our", or "us"), the legal entity that develops and operates the following platforms:

  • Velvuri — PM Judgment Training platform (velvuri.com)
  • Kelvuri — Nurse Interview Preparation platform (kelvuri.com)

This Policy explains how Vidyasage Labs collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when a user accesses either platform, any mobile application, or related services (collectively, the "Platforms"). References to "the Platform" apply to whichever Vidyasage Labs platform the user is accessing.

Use of the Platforms is also governed by the Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, the Refund Policy. By using any Platform, the user agrees to the practices described in this Policy. If the user does not agree, the Platform must not be used.

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

1. Information Vidyasage Labs may collect

Vidyasage Labs may collect the following categories of information across its Platforms:

  • Personal identifiers: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and account credentials.
  • Educational and professional details: institution attended, courses undertaken, certifications, licences, resumes, and employment history.
  • Performance and assessment data: scenario responses, quiz and test scores, progress reports, skill ratings, and submitted answers.
  • Usage and behavioural data: activity logs, engagement patterns, feature preferences, and time spent on the Platform.
  • Payment information: billing details, processed through third-party payment providers. Vidyasage Labs does not store full card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and data collected via cookies or similar tracking technologies.
  • Institution-sourced data: where an institution sponsors Platform access for its students or employees, Vidyasage Labs may receive information limited to what is necessary to administer that sponsored arrangement.

2. How Vidyasage Labs may use personal data

Personal data may be used to:

  • Deliver and personalise Platform services, including scenario practice, assessments, scoring, progress tracking, and career recommendations.
  • Improve the Platforms through analysis of usage patterns and user feedback.
  • Communicate service updates, notifications, and support responses.
  • Process payments and manage institutional or sponsored access arrangements.
  • Support future services, including job assistance and placement features, in a manner consistent with user preferences and applicable law.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations.

3. Platform content and AI-assisted materials

Vidyasage Labs provides educational, assessment, and career-support content across its Platforms. Portions of this content — including scenarios, questions, explanations, and assessments — may be generated or assisted by automated systems, including AI-based tools, and are reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis.

Vidyasage Labs does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or error-free nature of any Platform content. All content is provided for informational and preparatory purposes only and does not constitute professional advice, formal clinical training, or regulatory guidance. Users are encouraged to report inaccuracies or technical issues promptly.

4. Assessments, scoring, and ratings

Scores, rankings, skill ratings, and performance insights generated by the Platforms are indicative and intended for self-evaluation and learning purposes only. They do not reflect real-world examination results, clinical performance, or employer evaluation standards and must not be treated as definitive measures of ability or qualification.

5. Future services

Vidyasage Labs may, in the future, introduce additional features across Velvuri and Kelvuri, including job discovery, employer connections, and international career placement services. Where such features are introduced, additional data practices may apply and Vidyasage Labs will provide appropriate notice at that time. This Policy will continue to govern the overall relationship.

6. How Vidyasage Labs may share personal data

Vidyasage Labs does not sell personal data.

Personal data may be shared in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers engaged for hosting, analytics, payment processing, communications, and technical support, on a need-to-know basis and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • With educational institutions or employers that sponsor Platform access, limited to usage summaries and progress information relevant to the sponsored arrangement.
  • With job partners, placement agencies, or employers, only with the user's consent or as necessary to facilitate opportunities the user has actively chosen to pursue.
  • As required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or legal process.
  • In connection with a business reorganisation, merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

7. Data retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as is necessary to provide the services, fulfil applicable legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Performance and assessment data may be retained during a user's active engagement with the Platform and may subsequently be aggregated or de-identified for Platform improvement purposes.

8. Security

Vidyasage Labs implements reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. However, no system is entirely secure, and Vidyasage Labs cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. Transmission of data over the internet is undertaken at the user's own risk.

9. User rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and legitimate business requirements, users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting Vidyasage Labs at the address in Section 16. Users may also opt out of marketing communications and manage cookie preferences through browser or account settings. For institution-sponsored accounts, certain requests may require coordination with the relevant institution.

10. Cookies and tracking technologies

Vidyasage Labs may use cookies and similar technologies for Platform functionality, usage analytics, and personalisation. Users may manage cookie settings through their browser or account preferences. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of Platform features. Vidyasage Labs does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

11. Third-party services

The Platforms may link to or integrate with third-party tools and services. Those providers operate under their own privacy policies, which Vidyasage Labs encourages users to review. Vidyasage Labs is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services.

12. International users and data transfers

As Vidyasage Labs develops services with international scope, personal data may be transferred to or processed in jurisdictions other than the user's country of residence. By using the Platforms, the user consents to such transfers where they are necessary to provide the services, subject to appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

13. Eligibility and age

The Platforms are intended for users aged 18 years or older. Vidyasage Labs does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Users under 18 accessing a Platform through institution-sponsored arrangements must comply with any applicable parental or institutional consent requirements.

14. User responsibility

Users are solely responsible for how they interpret and act upon content and assessment results obtained through the Platforms. Vidyasage Labs does not guarantee outcomes including examination success, employment placement, or career advancement.

15. Amendments to this Policy

Vidyasage Labs reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Amendments take effect upon publication on this page, accompanied by an updated effective date. Where changes are material, Vidyasage Labs will notify users via the Platform or by email. Continued use of any Platform following publication of an amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Policy.
